Can't I just make a playlist on my phone?

Creating a playlist of your favorite love songs for your wedding ceremony seems like a meaningful and cost efficient thing to do -- until you realize that songs can't be adapted in any way to match the length of your individual ceremony activities.

For instance, a bride at an outdoor wedding may need two minutes to walk down a path, past the guests and reach the groom, while the song on your playlist is only 1.5 minutes.  That half-minute of awkward silence ranks among the top complaints of couples using a personal playlist.

When you use WEDDEDMUSIC, the user can seamlessly lengthen or shorten any song to match the moment perfectly.

How does the "Add Time" button work?

Each song has been pre-programmed with an available extension that seamlessly extends a song as if a professional musician or ensemble is doing so.  There are no audible stops and starts as you would find when trying to alter a playlist, and your guests will not be able to detect a change.  Each song also includes an alert to signal how much time you have remaining to make a decision about extending the song.

How does the "End Song" button work?

WEDDEDMUSIC's "End Music" feature is far superior to the "stop button" available on a playlist.  Each song is programmed with a 7-second, gentle fade to avoid the very-noticeable abrupt endings inherent in a playlist.

Can I play my program without customizing it?

Yes.  Once you've purchased and downloaded your program, you can operate it perfectly without utilizing the "add time" or "end music" buttons.  Each song is programmed to play in it's original form unless you intervene to extend or end it.

How does the Prelude music work?

The Prelude featured in each of our programs is approximately 30 minutes  (or 15 minutes for our short programs) of quiet, peaceful music appropriate for guest arrival and seating.  We've taken special note of the way guests typically speak quietly as they greet one another, and have curated selections to match.  If you’re worried that you’ll forget to start the Prelude on time, feel free to start it early and make use of the “Continuous Play” button. When you’re ready to stop it, just press “End Prelude” for a quiet fade.

How much does WEDDEDMUSIC cost?

WEDDEDMUSIC offers both full and short programs in three classic categories:

Classical String Quartet, Classical Guitar, and Pipe Organ and Horn.

Each full program:          $79.00
Each short program:     $59.00

With each purchase, you will have 180 days' access to all the customization tools, and permanent access to your ceremony music.  If you purchase your program more than 180 before your wedding, you can re-subscribe for another 180 days on the app.

The cost of WEDDEDMUSIC is a small fraction of the cost of a live band or ensemble which, according to top industry publications, averages between $500-$800.

Do I need WiFi or a cellular signal to use the app?

While you will need WiFi to purchase and download your music from the app, you will NOT need it to use your purchased program for your ceremony.

In fact, once you have purchased and downloaded your selected program, you should put your device in Airplane Mode and turn off WiFi to prevent interruptions during your ceremony.  Your program can now be played any place, any time.

How do I prevent notifications or calls from interrupting my program?

Once you have downloaded your program, you must put your device in airplane mode and turn off WiFi while officially using it for practice, rehearsal, or the ceremony to ensure that there are no interruptions.

Unfortunately, once a program has been purchased and downloaded to your personal device, we cannot offer refunds; but the music you purchased is yours to keep and can be accessed for 180 days with customization tools, and forever without tools.

Do I need to worry about copyrights?

Accepted Answer

No.  We've purposely chosen Classical music that is royalty-free and in the public domain.  WEDDEDMUSIC is covering all royalties on recordings, so you're good to go!
